In Grecia, Costa Rica, we hand-carve these hanging spider monkeys from reclaimed Madero negro, Cocobolo, Ron ron and coffee wood: branches and trunks the forest had already let go. We never cut down a tree.
It carries no paint: only the grain, the shape and the age of the wood. It is a work of art for your home and, at the same time, the most authentic souvenir from Costa Rica.
Because each piece is handmade, details, grain and exact tone vary slightly. No two pieces are the same.
